Mission statement: The Express strives to provide readers with timely, accurate, information about our community by practicing exemplary journalism, valuing differences of opinion, and featuring the accomplishments of students in our diverse school community in a safe and accepting environment. 

 

About us: The Express is the official student newspaper of San Juan Hills High School and is published by students in newspaper. Its content, which is the responsibility of The Express staff, is not subject to administrative approval before publication. Students are protected in their exercise of press freedom by California Education Code 48907 and the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.

 

We welcome letters to the editor on issues relevant to the San Juan Hills High School community, which may be submitted to bgkaiser@capousd.org. Letters must be signed and may be edited for length and clarity.
