Hello Stallion Community,

I am honored and excited to serve as principal of our school. High School is a pivotal time for students to explore their interests, challenge themselves, and most importantly take advantage of opportunities for growth and success. Our award winning programs, stellar athletics, and rigorous academics would not be possible without the incredible work of our faculty, coaches, and staff here at San Juan Hills High School. Our dedication to student success is a team effort built upon collaboration between staff, students, and families.

My educational philosophy centers on a positive and inclusive learning environment, which is key to helping all students learn and achieve their potential. This is accomplished through a student-centered approach to developing goals, collaboration with our local community, and connections from the classroom to real-world applications. This is all done through the lens of cultural proficiency to empower our students to excel both academically and socially. Data driven decision-making ensures that we are continuously reflecting on our practices to meet the needs of every student.

I am excited to welcome back our Stallions for this coming year, and together we will Ride for the BRAND. 

 The BRAND will continue to guide all that we do for our students to:

 

          Balance academics, activities, and social emotional needs

          Respect and include those from all backgrounds, cultures, and perspectives

          Apply higher-level thinking skills to a broad range of college and career contexts

          Nurture relationships with their communities and positively contribute to society as a whole
